A basic tenet of this is the creation and widening of better conditions for profit making by transnational companies from the North. At the same time, thousands of people will gather to demonstrate global resistance to exploitation, oppression and capitalism.

The situation in Mayo, Ireland is continuing to be tense as Shell and the Irish government refuse proposals made by opposers of the construction of a Corrib gas pipeline. Shell to Sea calls in the last bulletin for "you to work like never before to intensify the campaign.
