One of the best ways to come to Ecotopia is to participate in the annual Biketour!

Ecotopia Biketour is both a physical and travel-rich project that lasts several weeks during the summer and allows you to see many countries and unique places from the seat of a bicycle. It is for everyone interested in do-it-yourself "diy" environmentalism, culture, nature, community life, cycling and generally being cool [?]. The Biketour is an eco-mobile community that connects different environmentally active people and groups on route to Ecotopia. On the way you're able to promote various campaigns, gain awareness of local community initiatives and spread knowledge about environmentally and socially sustainable ways of living. Although autonomous, it's one of EYFA's very special projects and has brought people together in Europe to exercise the sustainable transportation method of cycling since the 1980s.

So if you still don't have a bicycle, or you have one but you are not using it, we recommend you start biking as soon as possible. The world looks dramatically different from a bike (in a good way!) and you'll travel guilt free knowing you're not polluting and getting some exercise at the same time. By cycling you're promoting this type of transportation to others. By biking regularly you are also creating a demand for more bike-friendly cities, for example, showing there is a need for bike lanes on our streets, so we can make it easier for everyone to get cycling!
